On September 27, a 6-hour specialized professional course titled “Neurokinesiological Assessment of Pain” was successfully held at MİTRİ.
The course was conducted by Professor Shahin Ahmadov from the World Peace University of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
During the course, key challenges in the treatment of chronic and idiopathic acute pain were thoroughly discussed. Special attention was paid to the importance of accurate diagnosis, the integration of scientific knowledge into clinical practice, and the role of an individualized treatment approach. It was emphasized that the area where pain is perceived is not always the true source of the problem. In some cases, pain results from muscular compensation, while in others it is caused by dysfunctions within the neuromuscular system.
The course covered the following key topics:
• Identification of the primary source of pain
• The role of muscles, joints, and ligaments in pain development
• Differentiation of radicular pain and tunnel syndromes
The course was attended by rehabilitation physicians, physiotherapists, neurologists, and sports medicine specialists.
